During the 2-day FUSE: Fundamental Understanding of Science Education professional development session, participants explored five impact areas of a successful science classroom: structures for learning, science-aligned content, science teacher practices, student practices, and assessment and differentiation.

Teachers engaged in real-world analysis of student work, observed three-dimensional science instruction, and learned strategies for increasing student discourse and classroom engagement through modeling and the use of high-quality instructional materials. The sessions provided practical, classroom-ready strategies to support effective science teaching and learning.

During The Regulated Classroom: "Bottom Up" Trauma-Informed Teaching training, participants explored how creating safe, connected, and regulated learning environments can support student success. Through interactive learning, educators gained a deeper understanding of Polyvagal Theory, learned to recognize and respond to stress behaviors, and explored practical trauma-informed instructional practices they can immediately implement in their classrooms.

As we gear up for a new school year, we're proud to support the dedicated educators who continue to pursue opportunities for professional growth and student achievement.
