New Career Development, Keystone, Internship, and College & Career Readiness teachers gathered at the Southeast Arkansas Education Service Cooperative for an engaging and informative professional development session. The day focused on understanding the mentorship program and endorsement requirements.

Presenters Emily Fisher and Kristy Mitchell shared valuable insights and practical guidance for teaching these courses, fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment. It was a productive day of professional growth and connection for all involved.

We’re excited to officially welcome Jessica Griffin to SEARK Co-op as our Local Early Childhood LEAD!

Jessica has been with us for a few months now, supporting early childcare providers and families of children from birth to age five. Her work is already helping enhance access to early education and improve kindergarten readiness across our region.

AmeriCorps members will be collecting items for Hope Place Monticello, Hope Place Fordyce, and Hope Place Warren.  Anyone in Southeast Arkansas can contact any of these locations for services. Items listed on the flyer were provided by all 3 Hope Place locations. These items were identified as most needed items.  Donations will be collected from September 4th-October 28th.

Donations will be taken to schools and businesses in Crossett, Dewitt, Drew Central, Fordyce, Hampton, Hermitage, Lakeside, McGehee, Star City, Warren, and Woodlawn.  All items collected will be divided between the 3 Hope Place locations.
